music.
Palm Springs is known for its many top rated golf courses and has been called
the "Golf Capital of the World" There are golf schools, top celebrity and pro
tournaments. There are over a hundred golf courses in the area.
Tennis is also a primary desert pastime with many tournaments held here. Other
sporting activities enjoyed by denziens of the desert are biking, horseback riding,
hiking, rock climbing, water sports and even ice-skating.
